"Sleep" is a one-off collaboration between two unique New Orleans musicians, the reclusive electronic artist Nounverber and singer/songwriter Becca Stone. Becca's clear vocal delivery would usually be a contrast to Nounverber's usual scattered electronics, whose style has a more laid back and subdued feel this time around.
Relying on live instruments and less on synthesizers, the music has "dark and dreamier Sade vibes", as described by Swedish Columbia artist Brahm.

I have had as long appreciation for El Huervo's music but never dived deeply into his larger projects. I can safely say your time won't be wasted with this LP. It's a fun, deep album that deserves its praises.
